Account Manager (Email Marketing)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Manager (Email Marketing) based in Switzerland.

This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of a portfolio of DTC e-commerce client accounts within a fast-growing email marketing agency.
You’ll serve as the primary client contact, ensuring communication stays clear, proactive, and focused on delivering strong outcomes.
You’ll coordinate copywriters, designers, and implementers, planning work ahead and keeping projects moving from brief through delivery.
You’ll also review campaigns, flows, pop-ups, and reports to ensure work meets client expectations and brand requirements.
Using platforms such as Klaviyo and Omnisend, you’ll monitor account performance and turn insights into actionable recommendations.
The role combines client management, project coordination, quality control, and lifecycle marketing expertise in a highly collaborative remote environment.
With significant ownership from day one, you’ll play an important role in helping the team scale while strengthening client relationships and results.

Accountabilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining clear, proactive communication through Slack and email.

• Take end-to-end ownership of client work, ensuring projects move efficiently from briefing and planning through execution and delivery.

• Plan upcoming work for both one-time projects and ongoing retainer accounts, ensuring priorities and deadlines remain clear.

• Allocate daily tasks across copywriters, designers, and implementers according to project requirements and team capacity.

• Review deliverables before they reach clients, including email flows, campaigns, pop-ups, and performance reports, ensuring they align with briefs and brand standards.

• Maintain clear visibility of priorities, deadlines, responsibilities, and handoffs using project-management and documentation tools.

• Monitor account performance through Klaviyo, Omnisend, and analytics platforms, translating results into actionable next steps and clear client updates.

• Use AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to support drafting, planning, summarization, and other account-management workflows where appropriate.

• Help identify opportunities to improve client outcomes, delivery processes, and team efficiency.

• Contribute to a positive, energetic team culture and support the team as the client portfolio continues to grow.

• Take ownership of account performance and delivery, ensuring client work is completed on time and agreed objectives are addressed.

• Progress toward increasing levels of independence, from learning the agency and accounts initially to independently managing planning, reviews, and client relationships.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working at an agency, ideally in an account management, client services, or similar client-facing role.

• Strong experience communicating directly with clients, with excellent written communication skills and a clear, warm, and professional approach.

• Solid understanding of the e-commerce lifecycle journey and how email and SMS channels work together from first website visit through repeat purchase.

• Practical knowledge of email marketing activities including flows, campaigns, pop-ups, and performance reporting.

• Familiarity with Klaviyo and Omnisend, as well as collaboration and project-management tools such as Slack, ClickUp, and Notion.

• Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to improve productivity and support day-to-day account management.

• Experience with Hiro Analytics or similar marketing analytics platforms is an advantage.

• Knowledge of peptide or supplement brands is a plus but is not required.

• Strong ownership mentality, with the ability to manage responsibilities independently and proactively identify what needs to happen next.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong prioritization and creative problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining quality, deadlines, and client communication.

• Collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues and contributing to a growing team.

• Comfortable working in an environment where feedback is informal, continuous, and integrated into active projects.

• Availability to work approximately 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, aligned with Eastern Time.
