Account Manager B2B - Industrial

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development of industrial accounts assigned, in compliance with sales and finance policies and all legal and technical standards.
• Responsible for managing and growing assigned B2B corporate accounts through effective hunting and farming strategies—identifying and converting new prospects into customers to expand the customer base, while nurturing existing accounts to strengthen relationships, ensure customer retention, maximize account potential, and drive sustainable sales growth.
• Implements ILC policies, B2B account development initiatives and strategies.
• Implements and executes business reviews and business plans with B2B key accounts.
• Manages and monitors volume on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, providing timely feedback and guidance to the Line Manager & B2B Sales Team.
• Develops & implements weekly & monthly activity plans & sales strategies, providing regular progress updates & performance feedback to the Line Manager.
• Monitors monthly credit dues & ensures timely collection of receivables to minimize overdue accounts.
• Implements actions proposed by the business and /or by the Line Manager and reports timely about the results of these actions.
• Monitors industrial installations after contract signature (verifies compliance with safety regulations and tightness tests for installations).
• Plan, monitor, and achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Develops, updates, and maintains customer account strategies for assigned B2B key accounts, documents all customer interactions, and plans and allocates activities to effectively address customer needs and achieve business objectives.
• Be responsible and proactive on HSSE issues that affect the individual, the office environment and all B2B customers.
• Be accountable for own development plans to continuously improve competencies (knowledge / skill / behavior).
• Define and execute the overall business plan (including call plans) for all customers in the portfolio.
• Monitors competitor activities and implements strategies to counter them.
• Ensure all service providers carry out the agreed terms.
• Actively use available systems optimally and keep customer contacts up to date and / or actively ensure accuracy where others perform these tasks.
• Provide backup within the sales force when required.
• Ensures all customer contracts are updated and enforced. Responsible for development of team members' individual competencies.

Qualifications:

• Ability to plan and execute B2B corporate account development and transformation strategies to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and expand market penetration
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry or similar
• High personal effectiveness, able to command respect without direct authority
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and support
• Prior experience in the B2B segment is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated Enterprise First mindset and actions (looking beyond department silo and contributing to business unit / ILC bottom line)
