About this role
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Argentina and help grow our AstroPay Walletbusiness.
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of merchants, building strong relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving engagement through commercial initiatives.
You will combine a strong commercial mindset with data-driven thinking to understand performance, identify opportunities, and turn insights into concrete actions that contribute to account growth.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Business Development, or a similar commercial role.
- Experience managing B2B clients, merchants, or strategic accounts.
- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of identifying and developing business opportunities.
- Analytical skills and comfort working with data and performance metrics.
- Ability to turn data and insights into concrete commercial actions.
- Proactive, hands-on, and entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or digital products is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Based in Argentina.
Key Responsibilities
Account Growth & Revenue- Manage a portfolio of merchants, building strong and long-term commercial relationships.
- Identify opportunities to increase transaction volume, engagement, and revenue across existing accounts.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities, introducing relevant products and solutions based on merchant needs.
- Understand merchant performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Take ownership of account growth initiatives and follow through on their execution and results.
- Act as a key point of contact for merchants, developing trusted relationships and becoming a reference for their business within AstroPay.
- Understand merchant objectives, challenges, and priorities to proactively propose solutions and opportunities.
- Develop initiatives to increase merchant engagement, including campaigns, promotions, and commercial actions.
- Work closely with merchants to define clear objectives and measure the impact of initiatives.
- Proactively identify and address issues that may affect the relationship or account performance.
- Monitor account performance and key commercial metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Analyze the performance of campaigns, promotions, and other commercial initiatives.
- Use data and business insights to support commercial decisions and prioritize growth opportunities.
- Translate analysis into concrete actions and recommendations that contribute to account growth.
- Track results against agreed objectives and continuously optimize initiatives based on performance.
- Work closely with Product, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and other teams to deliver solutions and initiatives for merchants.
- Bring merchant feedback and market insights into the organization to help identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate internally to ensure a smooth execution of commercial initiatives and a strong merchant experience.
