Account Executive, Technology Staffing

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities within small, mid-sized, and emerging enterprise organizations

• Build relationships with hiring managers, technology leaders, HR professionals, and executive decision-makers

• Generate opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach

• Conduct discovery conversations to understand hiring challenges, workforce needs, and business objectives

• Present Emergent Staffing's services and value proposition to prospective clients

• Negotiate service agreements and staffing engagements

• Partner closely with recruiters to align on client priorities, hiring strategies, and candidate delivery

• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities while keeping accurate CRM data and forecasts

• Consistently meet or exceed activity, revenue, and new client acquisition goals

• Expand relationships within existing clients by identifying new hiring managers, teams, and opportunities

• Serve as a trusted advisor by providing insights on hiring trends, talent availability, and workforce planning

• Contribute ideas and feedback to improve sales processes, messaging, and overall client experience

Qualifications

• Proven success generating new business and achieving sales goals in technology staffing

• Existing network of hiring managers, technology leaders, and business decision-makers

• Demonstrated ability to prospect, open doors, and win new clients

• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Understanding of contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire recruiting models

• Experience selling into SMB, mid-market, or emerging enterprise organizations

• Experience working closely with recruiting or delivery teams in a highly collaborative environment

• Experience managing a sales pipeline and forecasting revenue opportunities

• Experience utilizing CRM platforms and maintaining accurate, up-to-date customer and opportunity data

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

• Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

• Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset

• Collaborative, coachable, and willing to embrace proven tools, processes, and feedback in a team-oriented environment

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience using sales intelligence tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms

• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting workflows

• Experience with email outreach, sequencing, and sales engagement platforms

• Experience working within a startup or high-growth organization

• Experience working with Microsoft product suite, Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, etc.
