About You

Most AE roles ask you to sell a product you only half understand to buyers who already know they want it. This is not that role. You'll sell a deeply technical product to developers, CTOs, and product teams — people who can smell a script from a mile away and will respect you more for going deep on the tech than for any closing line you've practiced. We don't have a polished playbook handed down from a head of sales who left three companies ago. We have a new sales leader, a market that's exploding faster than we can keep up with, and a real opportunity for the right person to help define the motion from the inside.

What You'll Do

• Own and manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to demos, negotiation, and close

• Develop deep product understanding and communicate technical value to developers, CTOs, and product teams

• Generate pipeline through outbound efforts and strategic partnerships, with support from marketing and sales development

• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers, identifying their goals and how our platform helps them succeed

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to bring customer feedback into roadmap discussions and positioning

• Help shape and evolve our sales playbook, messaging, and GTM motion as one of the earliest sales hires

• Accurately forecast and track pipeline activity, working closely with leadership to inform strategy and planning

Who You Are

• 4+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, with at least 2 of those years selling into enterprise

• A track record of consistently selling 6-figure deals and hitting or exceeding quota in fast-paced or early-stage environments

• Strong instincts for selling technical products — APIs, developer tools, or infrastructure tooling — you don't shy away from going deep with technical buyers

• Comfortable in low-process, high-autonomy environments and bringing structure where it's missing

• Able to translate technical capability into business value for both technical buyers and executive stakeholders

• High accountability, ownership, and bias for action — you don't wait to be told what the right next move is

• Disciplined with CRM and pipeline hygiene (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Experience selling at an infrastructure or developer-tools company, ideally with multi-product or platform sales motion

• Time spent as one of the earliest sellers at a startup — you know what it feels like to build the plane while flying it

• A real interest in voice AI, agents, or real-time infrastructure (not just "AI" in your LinkedIn headline)

• You once spent a Saturday building something with an API just to see if you could 😏
