Account Executive, Legal AI | Netherlands

Your role as Account Executive

Saga builds AI-native technology for legal professionals, and our work in the Netherlands has found solid ground with large law firms. We're now looking beyond them, and we're searching for someone to help us get there. As Account Executive, you'll have a fill ownership to take new business through the full sales cycle, from first conversation to close, working closely with the wider Benelux team. Much of this is new territory, so you'll help shape how we approach these segments and write down what works, so the people who join after you can build on it. The people you'll be speaking with are partners, General Counsels and COOs, which means the conversations are considered and well-informed, and rarely quick.

What you’ll be doing

• Guiding prospective customers through the full sales cycle - first outreach, qualification, demos, negotiation and close - for a portfolio of new business accounts across the Netherlands.

• Building and looking after a healthy pipeline, with around 8 to 12 qualified meetings a week and a steady set of live opportunities.

• Tailoring product demonstrations to the problems each vertical actually has, translating what our technology does into outcomes a legal team recognises.

• Working alongside product, marketing, customer success and our adoption managers - sharing what you're hearing from the market, contributing to win/loss reviews, and handing accounts over carefully once they're signed.

• Helping shape our playbooks for new segments, documenting what works so the rest of the team can use it.

Requirements

What you bring to our team

You're a sales professional who thrives in fast-paced environments. You know how to prospect, qualify, and move deals forward. You handle rejection like a pro and get energized by turning interest into action. You also bring:

• Relevant experience in B2B software sales, with a track record of closing deals and meeting your targets consistently.

• Experience with complex sales cycles involving several stakeholders and longer decision-making processes.

• Familiarity with the legal sector, or a genuine interest in it and a habit of getting fluent in a specialised market quickly.

• Dutch at working proficiency for customer conversations, presentations and contract discussions, alongside English.

• A working understanding of generative AI - what it does well, where its limits are, and how to talk about both honestly when a customer raises objections.

• Curiosity and care in how you work with people: you ask good questions, you're open to feedback, and you build trust with senior stakeholders over time.
