About the Role:

As a Direct Merchant Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for Finix's payment products, selling to merchants of all sizes. You will lead the sales cycle with founders, CEOs, CFOs, and VP/Director-level functional leads with a consultative approach. You will drive sales strategy by owning every stage of the cycle from discovery to close, including the cross-functional work to develop the customer strategy and contribute to broader revenue initiatives.

You'll work with executives across a wide range of verticals to deeply understand their business and show them how Finix helps merchants accept payments, reduce costs, and unlock new revenue.

You Will:

• Own and manage the full sales cycle from hunting/discovery to close for direct merchants.
• Develop relationships with executives and functional stakeholders across finance, operations, and technology.
• Share prospect feedback with cross-functional teams, refine our Ideal Customer Profile, and act on insights from your knowledge of merchant needs.
• Contribute to team projects focused on developing and refining our sales process and playbooks.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to help drive product strategy and operations.
• Work closely with our Implementation, Product, and Payment Ops teams to ensure long-term customer success.

You Have:

• Proven ability to exceed sales targets.
• 3+ years of experience in a consultative SaaS or payments selling environment, preferably with a technical product.
• 1+ years of experience in fintech or payments, ideally selling to merchants preferred
• Strong communication, research, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Google Suite, and other sales tools.
• A strong desire and ability to grow within Finix.

Role: Account Executive III/IV Level: IC3/4 Location: Remote Base Salary Range: $100,000/year to $150,000/year + equity + benefits Total On-Target-Earnings: $200,000/year to $300,000/year Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at our headquarters in San Francisco, California. Individual pay is determined by work location, job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
