Key Responsibilities:

The ´´Project Manager, Enablement, Philanthropy Alliance´´ supports the development of an enablement strategy for high-net-worth and oversees change management through the implementation of the high-net-worth fundraising capability model globally. Delivers reliable and clear communication and participates in the development of an irresistible team culture across regions and cultures. Communicates and coordinates directly with donors, fundraisers, partner organizations, and executive leadership to develop, implement, and track enablement services. This role also collaborates with executives, philanthropy leaders, and subject matter experts to deliver fundraising resources, experiences, and capability consulting that enable the growth of high-net-worth fundraising in a systematic and scalable model. Works from a foundation of strong, supportive relationships and acts as a trusted partner and source of insight to facilitate partnership between Service Centres and offices, to enable the achievement of Alliance strategic goals and initiatives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as consultant for at least 19 Philanthropy Alliance (PA) offices, both practitioners, Philanthropy executives and senior leaders, on the fundamental core capabilities of a high-net-worth fundraising system and the Global Signature Initiatives (GSI’s).

• Understand and articulate World Vision’s models of the Philanthropy Alliance, transformational development, Donor Journey treatment model, and Moves Management strategy.
• Develop a change management narrative connecting new resources to HNW segment insights and core fundraising capabilities.
• Represent the Service Centre to the Philanthropy Alliance and advocate and negotiate for the Philanthropy Alliance offices back to the Service Centre.
• Negotiate adjustments to services with Philanthropy executives, accounting for global scope of changes and impacts to other offices.
• Develop clarity in systems to deliver results where roles and ownership are unclear.
• Identify and amplify strong stories of impact for use in HNW fundraising and change management.
• Facilitate and coordinate the cultivation, expansion, and stewardship of partnerships, internal processes, and execution of fundraising strategy.
• Communicate and coordinate directly with high-value donors who give over $100K, fundraisers, partner organizations and executive leadership to develop, implement and track enablement services.
• Communicate clearly and directly across cultures and time zones with appropriate tone per audience.

Coordinate with Philanthropy Alliance Service Centres to deliver high-net-worth fundraising enablement services (proposals/offers, reports, training, and events, etc.) in support of the Moves Management fundraising model.

• Lead selection, implementation, and ongoing management of systems for critical donor servicing requirements.
• Plan and facilitate meetings, especially for the purpose of training fundraisers and supporting change management.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams across many different disciplines to deliver services required as part of the Service Level Agreements to at least 19 Support Offices. Project Manager will work regularly with Product Marketing, Programme & Sector Leads, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Vision Trips, Events, Communications, Video Production, and more.
• Maintain strong working relationships that can handle complex problems virtually and without damaging partnerships across cultures and time zones.
• Communicate clearly and directly with different styles as appropriate to the audience and to ensure efficiency across cultures and time zones.
• Plan, facilitate, script, and produce donor experiences, including events and meetings.
• Assess, secure, coach, and prepare international subject matter experts, executive leaders, and major donors for speaking engagements.
• Manage contracts and project budgets, seeking and proposing opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
• Oversee working relationships with outside vendors and internal parties, ensuring meetings, large-scale events, and other fundraising initiatives are executed in alignment with organisational goals and strategies.
• Manage sensitive vendor relationships and budgets.
• Manage sensitive data with discretion as it relates to major gifts.

Provide excellent operational and project management support to ensure smooth delivery of service level agreements from Service Centres to the Philanthropy Alliance.

• Manage complex projects with critical deliverables, substantial detail, and many stakeholders across multiple offices and cultures.
• Communicate clearly, directly, and with timeliness to key stakeholders with attention to the limited capacity of HNW fundraisers.
• Project Manager’s deliverables will impact HNW giving, WV’s reputation, and World Vision’s ability to meet the fiduciary and legal requirements of individual Support Offices.
• Support the satisfaction of Direction and Control and Financial Operations of at least 19 offices. Negotiate the best way to deliver these requirements with Service Centres to ensure Support Offices can participate in the Philanthropy Alliance based on their legal requirements.

Develop and oversee knowledge management strategies and processes in support of business continuity and change management.

• Participate in the Philanthropy Alliance Community of Practice, developing strong community connections with fundraisers and contributing to a healthy and supportive team culture.
• Maintain awareness of division goals, objectives, announcements, and activities.
• Exercise sensitivity related to the pressures that other offices may be navigating; adjust priorities in response to Support Office requirements and feedback.
• Equip HNW fundraisers and philanthropy executives through regular written and verbal updates.
• Prepare and/or edit internal and external reports, papers, and drafts as needed; document and track stages of gift cultivation, multi-year asks, and campaign sector activities, ensuring customer relationship management (CRM) and other reporting systems are properly updated.
• Provide accurate and timely information to both internal and external stakeholders on behalf of HNW/UHNW account managers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, fundraising, hospitality, logistics, or project management.
• Extensive proven effectiveness building strong, collaborative relationships virtually with both internal and external stakeholders in a multinational or multicultural context to ensure effective project and product delivery in a complex, dispersed working environment, including stakeholders in senior leadership positions.
• Extensive proven effectiveness communicating verbally and in writing with sensitivity, effectiveness, and persuasion across cultures with both internal and external stakeholders, including stakeholders in senior leadership positions with competing priorities.
• 7-10 years of proven effectiveness planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects and priorities.
• 7-10 years of fundraising or sales operations, or closely related experience.
• Experience working directly with sales/fundraising representatives and using various sales reporting and CRM tools. Demonstrated understanding of the pressures and problems that face-to-face fundraisers experience, with ability to suggest solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate challenging conversations with tactfulness toward a defined objective.
• Proven effectiveness ensuring strategic alignment in complex, dispersed, cross-functional environments.
• Demonstrated capacity to identify, edit, and amplify stories for marketing impact and internal education and reporting.
• Demonstrated understanding of the high-net-worth segment and their particular expectations for philanthropic partners.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving capacity with ability to lead others through it as well.
• 7-10 years’ proven excellence managing projects, events, and work across remote, dispersed, multi-cultural and multi-functional stakeholder groups.
• Extensive demonstrated capacity to analyse processes or situations, consider options, source tools, and develop solutions or recommendations in a timely manner to keep work moving forward.
• Proven capacity to adapt to ongoing changes to processes, contacts, and policies, ensuring that work solutions are able to continue effectively.
• Capacity to identify, recommend, and facilitate ongoing process improvement and quality assurance.
• Experience working with a World Vision office is strongly preferred but not required.
• Travel up to 5%.
