Role Overview

ALSO is looking for an experienced Freelance AI-Supported Copywriter to provide flexible content and editorial support to the Corporate CoC Marketing team.

The freelancer will support ALSO’s content engine across a broad range of formats, including LinkedIn content, blogs, thought leadership, corporate campaigns, executive communications, website copy and future digital content formats.

This role combines excellent copywriting, storytelling and editorial capabilities with advanced experience in AI-assisted content creation. AI should be used as a productivity and ideation accelerator; however, the freelancer remains fully responsible for transforming AI-generated drafts into accurate, engaging and audience-focused content that meets ALSO’s brand, quality and editorial standards.

The freelancer will work closely with the Content Strategy, Project Manager, European Marketing Manger. Assignments will be provided based on current priorities, campaigns and available project demand.

Key Responsibilities

Create, edit and optimize high-quality English-language content for corporate and B2B audiences.
Support the development of LinkedIn posts, articles, blogs, thought leadership pieces, campaign copy, executive communications, website content and other marketing materials.
Translate complex business, technology and industry topics into clear, engaging and audience-relevant narratives.
Develop content based on approved briefings, strategic messaging, campaign objectives and target-audience requirements.
Use Company AI tools to support research, ideation, drafting, content variation and optimization.
Critically review, fact-check, edit and improve all AI-assisted outputs before submission.
Ensure that content reflects ALSO’s positioning, tone of voice, terminology and editorial standards.
Adapt content for different channels, audiences, markets and stages of the customer journey.
Incorporate stakeholder feedback and manage agreed correction rounds efficiently.
Collaborate with content owners, project managers, designers, subject-matter experts and other contributors.
Deliver content within agreed timelines and according to the defined approval process.
Proactively recommend content angles, formats and storytelling approaches where appropriate.

Editorial reviews and quality assurance of existing copy
The exact scope, timeline, deliverables and estimated effort will be defined for each assignment through the applicable ALSO briefing and project-management process.

Requirements

Proven professional experience in copywriting, content marketing, journalism, corporate communications or a comparable editorial role.
Excellent English writing, editing and storytelling skills, ideally at native or near-native level.
Strong understanding of B2B marketing, corporate communications, digital content and social media.
Demonstrated experience creating content for technology, IT, cloud, cybersecurity, digital platforms or other complex business environments is highly desirable.
Practical experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or comparable technologies.
Strong prompting capabilities and the ability to generate consistent, high-quality AI-assisted outputs.
Ability to critically assess, fact-check and substantially improve AI-generated content.
Strong understanding of audience-focused writing, thought leadership and business storytelling.
Ability to work with corporate messaging, brand guidelines and defined approval processes.
Excellent attention to detail, linguistic quality and factual accuracy.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments and meet agreed deadlines.
Professional and reliable communication with international stakeholders.
Additional European languages, particularly German, are an advantage.

Working Model

This is a freelance support assignment based on project demand and agreed capacity. It does not represent a permanent employment position or guarantee a fixed volume of work.

The freelancer is expected to:

Work independently within agreed briefings, deadlines and budgets.
Record and report working hours or project-based effort as agreed.
Use ALSO’s designated collaboration and project-management tools.
Follow the applicable content, brand, approval, confidentiality and data-protection requirements.
Clearly disclose the use of AI where required and ensure that no confidential information is entered into unauthorized AI systems.
Submit only professionally reviewed and publication-ready content.
Maintain confidentiality regarding all non-public ALSO, customer, vendor and partner information.

Collaboration and Quality Expectations

The Freelance AI-Supported Copywriter is expected to act as a reliable extension of the Corporate CoC Marketing team. Successful collaboration requires responsiveness, transparency, strong editorial judgement and the ability to translate feedback into high-quality content efficiently.

All deliverables must be original, factually accurate, aligned with the approved briefing and suitable for the intended audience and communication channel. AI-generated content must never be submitted without professional editorial review and refinement.
