About this role:

We are seeking an elite, data-driven Content Marketing Lead to own our content team of writers and strategists. You will lead cross-channel content creation to drive organic demand for our product-led growth (PLG) motion and generate leads for our enterprise funnel. This proactive role requires collaboration across marketing, product, success, and sales. Operating with a 70/30 split between team management and original content production, you will own the organic engine to hit monthly lead gen targets. Managing a mix of direct reports and external contributors, you must be a ruthless prioritizer who uses AI to scale workflows and treats content as an accountable revenue driver.

Responsibilities:

• Take extreme ownership of the marketing team’s Content-Generated Leads (CGL) target accountable to a clear monthly goal.
• Track, measure, and optimize every content initiative against its ability to convert traffic into qualified pipeline.
• Direct the daily execution of the content production pipeline, driving a high efficiency end-to-end process with weekly sprints.
• Make data-driven decisions to move the team and our content forward and hit company goals.
• Enforce strict, performance-based SLAs with external content contributors, SEO, AEO, and PR agencies. Manage every contributor to measurable ROI.
• Lead by example as a writer, using a written style consistent with our company’s tone and mission. Write clearly and concisely.
• Enforce a strict good is better than a perfect filter on the content team’s backlog to ensure that the team can ship a high volume of work every sprint.
• Build and manage AI-automated content pipelines (using Claude) to rapidly scale topical authority and repurpose content across channels.
  

Requirements:

• Native English speaker (or C2 equivalent) with flawless written and editorial command of American English grammar.
• BA/BS degree in English, Media/Journalism or comparable discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 2+ years explicitly managing content teams, SEO pipelines, and external vendor production cycles.
• Deep understanding of modern search dynamics: SEO, AEO, and how to structure content that ranks and converts in an AI-first landscape.
• Driven by creative intuition but able to gut check and course-correct with data, as well as report results and optimize using data.
• Excellent attention to detail both for line editing copy and consistency in style and tone across our content.
• Highly proficient in web analytics (HubSpot, Google Analytics, Ahrefs) and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Proficient in web content management and familiarity with a variety of CMS tools (Webflow, HubSpot).
• Ability to translate content activity into executive-level business metrics. You flag blockers immediately and propose solutions, rather than waiting for direction.
• AI proficient at a high level and hands-on with building agentic workflows to eliminate administrative debt and scale output.
