About this role

Overview

The Artificial Intelligence Governance, Director provides enterprise-wide oversight, coordination, and visibility for Cotiviti’s AI governance framework, ensuring consistent documentation, responsible AI use, regulatory readiness, and ongoing post deployment compliance monitoring across all business units.

The position operates with significant autonomy at the Enterprise level to develop and oversee enterprise AI governance standards, compliance reporting mechanisms, and evidence collection processes, while ensuring business units retain ownership, accountability, and responsibility for implementation and operation of their AI initiatives. It exercises independent judgment to drive cross business unit alignment, proactive risk management, and leadership level visibility into AI use, compliance posture, AI risk tolerance, and governance maturity across the enterprise.

The AIG serves as the steward of the enterprise AI governance program but does not assume ownership of business-unit AI initiatives, operational decisions, or technology implementation responsibilities.

Base compensation ranges from $130,000 to $180,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs. This role is eligible for discretionary bonus consideration.
