Remote Full-Stack Django/React Developer (Non-US/Non-EU Position) - FULLY REMOTE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team as our Lead Developer. As a Software Engineer at Tracklings, you will play a crucial role in building new features within our web application, as well as enhancing existing functionality. Your ability to collaborate effectively with our close-knit team and your aptitude for logical problem-solving will contribute to the continued success and growth of our software products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development process by developing, testing, and deploying new features for our web application.
• Maintain and enhance existing features to improve performance, user experience, and overall functionality.
• Work closely with founders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python, React, and the other languages in our stack.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to improve our software products.

• 2+ years of recent Django or Django React Framework experience.
• Experience in software development, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Solid hands-on experience designing and building solutions for customer-facing applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to logically follow a process from start to finish.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a track record of being a great team player.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Education and Certifications:

• While specific educational requirements are not mandatory, a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is advantageous. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Applicants will be required to take an online coding test on Django, Python, React.js, and Javascript.

Tracklings is a small startup based in Turkey creating a competitor analysis tool for large enterprises. Due to our small nature we don't have large budgets to hire developers.
