Position Summary:

The Procurement Contract Specialist serves as the operational liaison between Procurement and Legal, helping accelerate contract review, improve contract quality, and strengthen contract data governance across the enterprise. This role performs first-pass commercial and administrative review of sourcing agreements using company-approved standards and playbooks, coordinates and tracks Legal review, maintains consistent contract documentation and file naming, and captures required contract metadata in the enterprise contract repository. The Procurement Contract Specialist partners closely with Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Legal, business stakeholders, and suppliers to improve visibility, prioritization, cycle time, and compliance throughout the contracting process. The role does not provide legal advice and escalates non-standard legal terms and risk decisions to Legal in accordance with established guidelines.
