Responsibilities of the role

Build and optimize self-hosted GitLab CI/CD pipelines for hybrid deployments.
Create reusable CI/CD templates for build, test, package, and release workflows.
Operate and improve container platforms, including migration from Docker-based environments to Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration automation with Ansible.
Strengthen DevSecOps controls in pipelines (SAST/DAST, dependency and license scanning, secrets handling).
Manage container image lifecycle and security (Harbor/Trivy preferred).
Improve observability, alerting, and reliability across infrastructure and applications (Elastic, Zabbix, Prometheus/Grafana).
Partner with Engineering, QA, Security, and IT Ops to reduce incidents and improve deployment confidence.
Support cost-aware operations across Azure/AWS/GCP (FinOps mindset).
