Email Marketing Specialist

We're looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to manage campaign scheduling, deploy creatives and landing page links, follow QA checklists, and manage email flows for a data-first growth marketing agency serving e-commerce brands. You will own the operational side of email marketing execution — keeping campaigns on schedule, assets correctly deployed, and flows working as intended across a portfolio of clients.

This is an execution and operations role. You do not need to write copy or design assets — those come to you. Your job is to take what has been produced, deploy it correctly, QA it thoroughly, and ensure every campaign goes out on time and on spec. Clear communication and an eye for detail are the most critical traits for this role. If you are organized, process-driven, comfortable manipulating email flows in a major ESP, and take pride in clean, error-free deployments, this role is a strong fit.

What You'll Work On

Campaign Scheduling and Deployment

• Schedule and deploy email campaigns accurately and on time across client accounts
• Add creatives, copy, and landing page links into the ESP and ensure all assets are correctly placed before deployment
• Coordinate campaign timing across multiple clients and ensure nothing launches late or with incorrect assets
• Maintain a clear campaign calendar and flag scheduling conflicts or risks proactively

QA and Pre-Send Checklists

• Follow QA checklists thoroughly before every send to catch errors in links, creative placements, subject lines, preview text, segmentation, and send time
• Test emails across devices and email clients to ensure rendering is correct
• Flag any issues to the relevant team member before deployment and confirm resolution before sending
• Maintain a zero-error standard on all campaign deployments

Flow and Automation Management

• Build, update, and manage email flows and automations inside the ESP
• Understand how flows are structured and make changes to triggers, conditions, content, and timing as directed
• Troubleshoot flow issues and ensure automations are running correctly across all client accounts
• Document flow logic and changes clearly so the team has full visibility

Communication and Coordination

• Communicate clearly and proactively with internal team members on campaign status, deployment timelines, and open issues
• Flag blockers, missing assets, or unclear briefs early rather than waiting until a deadline is at risk
• Maintain organized records of campaign deployments, QA outcomes, and flow changes

What You Bring

• Proven hands-on experience managing email campaigns and flows inside a major ESP such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Attentive, or similar
• Strong understanding of how email flows and automations are structured and how to manipulate them confidently
• Excellent attention to detail with a track record of zero-error campaign deployments
• Comfortable following QA checklists and pre-send processes rigorously without cutting corners
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills with a proactive approach to flagging issues
• Highly organized with the ability to manage campaign schedules across multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Available Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time

Nice to Have

• Experience with Klaviyo specifically for e-commerce email marketing
• Background in a marketing agency managing email across multiple client accounts
• An eye for creative quality and the ability to flag obvious design or copy issues before deployment
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or BigCommerce as they relate to email integration
• Experience with SMS marketing platforms alongside email
