Director International Sales (m/f/d)

As our Director of International Sales (m/f/d), you will drive Shopware’s enterprise growth across France, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands, leading and developing a high-performing international sales team. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in complex enterprise opportunities, building strong customer relationships and accelerating our growth across key European markets.

We are looking for an experienced sales leader with a proven track record in enterprise software sales, strong leadership and coaching capabilities, and a deep understanding of the e-commerce, SaaS, or customer experience ecosystem. You know how to turn market opportunities into sustainable revenue growth while empowering your team to perform at its best.

Requirements

• Lead & Inspire: Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of international Account Executives, creating a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous growth.

• Drive Enterprise Growth: Own international sales performance and guide your team through complex, high-value enterprise sales cycles while staying hands-on in strategic opportunities.

• Develop Our Markets: Shape and execute go-to-market strategies across France, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands, identifying opportunities to accelerate growth and expand Shopware’s presence.

• Engage Executive Stakeholders: Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers, positioning Shopware as a strategic partner for their digital commerce ambitions.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Sales Development, and Partner Management to align initiatives and maximize market impact.

• Own Pipeline & Forecasting: Drive pipeline quality, forecasting accuracy, and sales performance to ensure predictable and sustainable revenue growth.

• Represent Shopware: Act as a senior ambassador at key industry events, conferences, and customer engagements, strengthening Shopware’s brand and network across our international markets.

This is what you’ll bring to the table:

• Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing enterprise sales teams, ideally across multiple international markets.

• Enterprise Sales Expertise: Strong experience in enterprise software sales, with a track record of winning large, complex deals and consistently delivering against revenue targets.

• Industry Expertise: Proven experience selling business applications is essential; experience within the e-commerce or customer experience technology ecosystem is a strong advantage.

• International Market Experience: Strong understanding of European enterprise markets, ideally with experience and established networks across France, Italy, Belgium, and/or the Netherlands.

• Strategic & Hands-On: You combine strategic thinking with commercial execution, confidently moving between market strategy, team leadership, pipeline management, and complex deals.

• Executive Communication: You are a strong communicator and trusted sparring partner, able to engage, influence, and negotiate with C-level stakeholders across different markets and cultures.

• Growth Mindset: You bring an entrepreneurial and data-driven mindset, with the ambition to build markets, identify new opportunities, and accelerate Shopware’s international growth.
