About this role
The entry point into Revenova's Customer Success Manager career track. The CSM I supports a portfolio of smaller, lower-complexity customers while developing the product knowledge, business acumen, and customer-management skills needed to grow within Customer Success. This is a developmental role designed for someone highly organized, customer-focused, and curious, who wants to build a career in Customer Success and transportation technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage day-to-day relationships for a portfolio of smaller and lower-complexity Revenova customers.
- Maintain regular and proactive communication with assigned customers to promote engagement and strengthen customer relationships.
- Develop an understanding of each customer's business, transportation workflows, goals, and use of the Revenova platform.
- Help customers understand and utilize available Revenova resources, training, and product capabilities.
- Monitor customer engagement and identify concerns, adoption challenges, or changes in customer sentiment that may require additional attention.
- Prepare for and participate in customer meetings, account reviews, and renewal discussions, taking on progressively greater responsibility as experience grows.
- Manage renewal activities for assigned accounts, including renewal outreach, coordination, and execution of the renewal process.
- Recognize potential customer needs or opportunities for additional Revenova products and services and communicate them to the appropriate team.
- Ensure customer account information, contacts, engagement activity, and relevant account updates are accurately maintained within internal systems.
- Participate in implementation-to-Customer Success handoffs for newly assigned customers.
- Build knowledge of Revenova, Salesforce, transportation management systems, and logistics operations through training and hands-on customer experience.
- Travel occasionally as needed for customer or company engagements.
Collaboration & Escalation
- Escalate customer concerns, risks, and complex business needs to Customer Success leadership or the appropriate internal resource rather than attempting to resolve them alone.
- Coordinate with Support, Professional Services, Product, and Technical Account Managers to connect customers with the right internal resource for technical or implementation questions.
- Share customer feedback and recurring themes with Customer Success leadership.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, customer-facing account management, or customer service preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to build positive professional relationships.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn customers' businesses, workflows, and goals.
- Ability to recognize when a customer concern requires additional support or escalation.
- Comfortable learning new software platforms, technology, and transportation concepts.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus but not required.
- Self-motivated, coachable, and interested in developing a career in Customer Success.
What Success Looks Like
- Assigned accounts stay engaged and renew on schedule with minimal last-minute intervention.
- Growing independence — fewer escalations needed for routine relationship and renewal work over time.
- Demonstrated readiness to take on a larger, more varied portfolio (CSM).
